Weekly Newsletter for May 5, 2017

Dear Friends and Families,

The Parent Club Board and the students showered the teachers with displays of appreciation this week. Monday was a Continental Breakfast, Tuesday the students brought flowers, Wednesday the Faculty and Staff were treated to a luncheon hosted by the PCB, Thursday the PCB came bearing Sweets and the students presented “rainbows of appreciation” for their teachers. Our teachers are so dedicated to your children, helping them to grow in body, mind, and spirit. God has blessed Saint Isabella School with a very dedicated faculty and staff. Your signs of appreciation mean so much!

It was wonderful to have so many grandparents, special friends, and parents with us today for Grandparents’ Day. This day gave us the opportunity to appreciate the generational strength of our families and our community. Following the Mass, our visitors enjoyed refreshments served by our dedicated Parent Club Board and many volunteers. Thank you to all who contributed goodies and helped with the coffee social in the Parish Center. After refreshments and recess, our special visitors spent time in the classrooms followed by an inspiring performance of word and song beautifully presented by our kindergarten through eighth grade students. We are grateful to teachers and all of our talented students who made this a memorable day for all.

The Golf Tournament was a wonderful event for all of our golfers as well as those who joined us for dinner. The committee did an amazing job putting the day together. Thank you to Allison Cervantes, Pat Regan, and Chris Brown and their entire committee.

Be sure to join us for two special Masses, First Communion and May Crowning Mass. Our second graders will make their First Communion this Saturday. Mrs. Horan and Mrs. Gatti have been preparing them for this special Sacrament and are pleased to present them to the Saint Isabella Parish Community. On Tuesday, May 9, we will honor Mary with our May Crowning Mass prepared by our fourth and second grade classes. We encourage you all to come celebrate with us.

Yours in Christ,

Susan Naretto
