Weekly Newsletter for May 26, 2017

Dear Friends and Families,

Our weeks are full as we near the final days of this school year. What a beautiful musical concert we enjoyed Tuesday evening. The children’s voices were magical as they filled the church with their gift of song. We are grateful to Miss Chambliss for bringing out the musical talents of all the students. She will be greatly missed and we wish her well as she moves to Presentation School in Sonoma. Yesterday we enjoyed our Annual Field Day events and Volunteer Thank You BBQ. It was good to have so many of you join us.

This afternoon the school community came together in celebration of the life of Nicolas Simard. Nicolas and his family remain an integral part of the Saint Isabella School and Parish community long after this first year anniversary of his death. The seventh grade class prepared the memorial mass today, sharing their continued love for their classmate. Nicolas’ love of life, his humor, his kindness, and the friendship he extended to everyone inspires us to continue to do the same. #SIMARDSTRONG

Our eighth graders begin their graduation activities this evening with their Dinner Dance at the Marin Country Club. They return next week for final tests and rehearsals culminating with their Baccalaureate Mass and Graduation Ceremony on Friday, June 2. We want to enjoy this last week with this remarkable class.

 Yours in Christ,

 Susan Naretto
