Dear Friends and Families,

Our First Alumni Gathering was this past Saturday. It was wonderful to see the smiles and hugs exchanged as former classmates, teachers, and principals reconnected. The Ratto family, one of the first families to enter Saint Isabella School, was honored as the last Ratto student graduates after an uninterrupted 50 year presence! But Debbie (Ratto) Epindendio will continue with us as the Kindergarten Assistant.  Thank you to Kathleen Kilkenny, Dave Santi , Rob Pheatt, Kelly Pass, Tom Stoddard, and Elizabeth Martin-Toups for planning and executing this wonderful event.

Our eighth graders will be confirmed this weekend by Cardinal Levada during the 5:00 pm Saturday Mass. We are proud of the preparation our eighth graders have made and also appreciative of the instruction by our eighth grade teacher, Mrs. Kuhr and our PSR Director, Lyn Gatti. All are welcome to join in this celebration.

Will we see you this Sunday at the Carnival? Come and join the fun from 12:00 – 5:00. There will be food, booths, rides, prizes, and Mr. Pheatt and Mr. Balistreri In the dunk tank!!

The arts are alive at Saint Isabella School! Our First Annual Art Show opens at 5:00 pm on Tuesday, May 23. Students are to be accompanied by their parent(s) during the showing, which takes place in the school foyer. All students are to be in attendance at the concert and dressed appropriately; dresses or dress pants for girls (no bare shoulders), slacks and collared shirts for boys, and sensible shoes, or they may wear their formal uniform. Students are to be seated in their assigned pews at 5:45 when the doors open. The concert will begin at 6:00.

Yours in Christ,

 Susan Naretto
