Weekly Newsletter for May 12, 2017

Dear Friends and Families,

As we draw closer to the end of this school year, I find myself wanting to savor the remaining time with our students, especially our eighth graders. As school years go, this one has been full of learning and growth, as well as activities and events shared by the entire school community. This time of the school year students can lose their focus as they see summer on the horizon. I encourage you to continue helping your child remain fully engaged in their studies as the teachers have much to accomplish before the final days of the school year. We also have many remaining events that you will want to enjoy with the school community. Field Day, May 25, all of our parent volunteers are invited be our lunch guests. Be sure to send in your RSVP on the flyer you will find attached to this newsletter.   Please check the calendar so you don’t miss anything. Together, let’s celebrate our wonderful Saint Isabella School community.

Our Alumni BBQ is this Saturday from 1:00 – 5:00. We encourage all of our alumni to join us and bring along their alumni friends and family. This is the 50th anniversary for the first Saint Isabella graduating class. We look forward to welcoming past students, teachers, and parents to share in the spirit they have created over the past 50 years.

The faculty and staff are so appreciative of the treats, lunches, and support you have provided this month of May. It has been extra busy this year as we write the first three chapters our WASC/WCEA progress report, looking deeply and critically at our school’s accomplishments as well as determining goals and action plans for the future. We are proud of the high standards of our school and know the value of self-evaluation as we continue to build the excellence of our Saint Isabella School community.

Yours in Christ,

Susan Naretto
