Weekly Newsletter for April 7, 2017

Dear Friends and Families,

As we continue our Lenten journey I would like to share another reflection from Mother Teresa. May we take time to share kindness with one another in the small ways that touch our hearts and share Christ’s love with one another.

“Let no one ever come to you without leaving better and happier. Be the living   expression of God’s kindness: kindness in your face, kindness in your eyes, kindness in your smile.”                               — Mother Teresa

This Sunday is Palm Sunday. Next week we celebrate the events of Easter through our Holy Week Reflections. These celebrations are most significant as the events of Easter are central to our Catholic Faith. Therefore, it is my hope that this Easter families find time to reflect and celebrate the ultimate sacrifice that Jesus made for us. The mystery of Easter is not just focused on the death of Jesus but, more importantly, on his Resurrection. The eighth grade Faith Family leaders are preparing the Holy Thursday Seder Service, which we will celebrate in our Faith Families on Thursday at 11:15 in the Parish Center. We encourage you to join us for this reenactment of the Last Supper.

 Yours,

Susan Naretto
