Emphasis on Academics
Our teachers employ current methods and technologies to deliver a well-integrated curriculum that is both traditionally sound and innovative. Core subjects include math, science, religion, reading, language arts (writing, grammar, spelling) social studies, computer technology, Spanish, and physical education. In addition, we provide music, art, and drama as components of our fine arts curriculum. All students have frequent access to laptop computers and apply their tech skills to various areas of curriculum. With supervision by our science teachers, the students maintain a school garden where they can experience the joy of caring for living things. We are fortunate to have a large, grassy field on campus, which is used for recess play, physical education classes, and special events.
Our large and diverse faculty is a successful mix of veteran and younger teachers. They are all enthusiastic and dedicated to providing the students with a comprehensive Catholic education program. The teachers foster a lifelong love of learning and they model the virtues and values central to our faith. Conscientious and responsive to student needs and parent expectations, the faculty works together to provide a challenging academic curriculum integrated with Christian principles. The pastor and principal are committed to providing the resources, materials, and environment that support the work of the faculty and enhance our programs.
