PowerSchool is a student information system that we use at St. Isabella to share information between students, teachers, and parents.
PowerSchool has several features. Parents, students, teachers and administrators can use the system to share information about grades, attendance records and homework assignments all over the Internet, in an easy-to-use system.
-
Teachers gain timesaving administrative tools.
-
Parents gain immediate access to their children's grades.
-
Students can track their own progress
Increase Parental Involvement
With PowerSchool, parents/guardians can access vital information about their children quickly and accurately. They can see the results of tests and assignments as soon as they are recorded, enabling them to intervene quickly if necessary. Parents can check the latest homework assignments and offer their children help with their schoolwork. Day in and day out, PowerSchool helps parents help their children achieve their potential.
What does an M mean as a Power School conduct/Effort grade?
The Archdiocesan Report Cards use numbers for conduct and effort grades. Power School does not support numerical grades. Therefore you will see a letter when you look at your student's Conduct or Effort grade. Here is the equivalent code:
O or OU (outstanding) =1;
M (Meets Expectations) = 2;
I (Improvement Needed) =3;
and U (Unsatisfactory) = 4
