Spanish
Academics   >   Spanish

Magalie Perazzo

My overall goal is to teach the students basic Spanish, and to enable them to feel comfortable communicating in class as well as with the Spanish-speaking communities around us. Should they decide to take Spanish as their second language course in high school, our curriculum will provide a solid foundation on which to build.

The K-8 Spanish Program is structured to emphasize both the acquisition of the language and the understanding and appreciation of Spanish cultures. The goal is to instill:

a) a love of the language
b) a positive attitude towards language learning
c) a feeling that "I can do it!", and
d) the ability to speak, read, and write Spanish at a novice level.
